RONN MACH TIME TRAVELS TO THE PAST AND HELPS THE GAULS WIN THE BATTLE OF ALESIA (A Made-Up Short Story)

So here I am, in the year 2022, with my time travel machine

Yeah, I am siding with the ancient Gauls in the famous Battle of Alesia

And I decided to go back to the past and help them win it

I prepped myself and soon I was all ready

Time to go – let’s do it – I set the mach to the year 52 BC

I got the timing to my satisfaction, cause I arrived in Alesia as the Romans were building their walls around it

I had appeared inside Vercingetorix’s besieged camp to the Gaul’s great surprise. Some of them attacked me but I have my futuristic force field and soon they thought that I was a god.  I gave proofs that I came from the future, such as showing them a digital image of the now well-known painting of Vercingetorix’s surrender to Julius Caesar

Through sign language and my digital device I’m able to communicate to them the tactic that we’ll gonna do

I convinced them to dig a large underground tunnel that will exit at the camp of the Gaelic relief army

It took time and effort but it was successfully completed after two weeks. Now it’s time for us to stealthily leave the forsaken place

In order to keep the Romans from knowing what was actually going on, I advised my allies (lolz) to keep a sense of presence in the walled-in camp by stationing a skeleton crew that patrolled around the area from time to time

Once most of Vercingetorix’s army had gotten out safely, the tunnel was completely covered up on both ends. Now it was time to give Caesar a dose of his own medicine

I instructed the now combined Gaul army - of the former besieged warriors and the relief forces - to build fortifications that completely encircled the entire Roman camp

The enemies made unsuccessful tries to break out, and eventually surrendered after they ran out of supplies

Yup, we changed history

Vercingetorix becomes King of the Gauls and goes down in history as the Conqueror of Julius Caesar
